“Meeting the Personal and Social Needs of Our Students”

Welcome to the Mount Miguel Resource Center. The overall goal of the resource center is to bring together school and community resources to increase the availability of these resources for our students and families. Students may be referred by staff, parents, or self-refer to the Student Assistance Program (SAP) team. The SAP team oversees the needs of the students and creates an action plan unique for each student’s needs offering one or more services at school, school-based services, or community-based services.

What the resource center offers:

·        Support Groups (topics depend on need of students/school)

·        ”Off to a Good Start” (pregnant & parenting group)

·        Health Insurance Information

·        Mentoring

·        Information on different community agencies/organizations

·        Crisis Intervention

·        Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) specialist

·        Referrals to school programs

·        Peer Mediation

·        Cal-SAFE

·        Drop Out Prevention Specialist

·        Group Counseling

·        Referrals to outside agencies
